Congratulations!!!

Ok. I’m really bored right now, and I should be studying for a test right now that I have tomorrow, but guess what? I’m NOT!! Haha. I guess you could say that I am one of the world’s BIGGEST procrastinators. But hey, when it comes down to it, all that really matters is that I get the work done, right? Exactly!!!

I know I said in my last blog that I was going to try to blog about some of my favorite Figure Skaters in a future blog, but I lied. Well, at least I did for this blog. I’m not going to blog about that today. For some strange reason, whatever it may be, right now I feel compelled to write a “Congratulations!!” blog that goes out to some people that I know that deserve a round of it (even though I know they won't read this). By the way, all of them are for events in the past (back through January), but guess what? It's my blog, so I can do whatever the heck I want, yo! Ok. Ignore that. That was just a little bit of a crazy moment for me. If you feel like you want to read it, that’s great. But if you don’t… TOO BAD FOR YOU! Haha.

Congratulations are in order for...

Chase Peacock

Congratulations buddy on your first performance as Troy Bolton in the National Tour of High School Musical !!! I bet you were fantastic, and I am so sorry that I didn't get to see you perform. If I could have, I would have deffinitely flown out to Louisville to see this historic occasion. Finally JJ took a vacation, and you have had your time to shine in the spotlight as that oh so gorgeous basketball hunk that I know you are. Keep it up!!

Rachel Potter

You did it girl!!! You made it to the finals of Legally Blonde: The Search for the New Elle Woods! I am SO PROUD OF YOU. You will never know. I am deffinitely rooting for you when they start airing the show on MTV. You can bet that every single night that it's on that I'm throwing a party for you. I hope you get it, because you've got the voice of an angel, and I know that you would deffinitely bring all of that sass and spunk to Elle Woods, and then some. You deserve it.
MORE CONGRATULATIONS TO COME LATER!!!

A little bit sad...

I want to blog about something right now that has me somewhat sad. Ok, not really, but I guess you could say disappointed. That is about my favorite Figure Skater in the world, Evan Lysacek. He has withdrawn from the 2008 World Figure Skating Championships in Sweden due to an injury in his arm, elbow, and shoulder. Thankfully, though, it is not that serious and he has gone home to continue training.

How did he get these injuries? He was working on his triple axel during rehearsal, and he fell due to a broken blade. The blade came completely off, apparently. I am starting to get worried about him a little bit that his career as a Figure Skater is slowly coming to an end. Maybe it will last for a few more competitive seasons or after the 2010 Winter Olympics, but who knows??? I have a feeling that it will at least last until the 2010 Olympics. Why am I worried and why do I think this? Well, now for the past 3 seasons in a row, he has withdrawn from at least one event due to an injury. In the 2005 – 2006 season, he withdrew from the Grand Prix final due to bursitis and tendonitis in his hip. In the 2006 – 2007 season, he withdrew from the Grand Prix final for a second time due to a hip injury. And now, in the 2008 – 2009 season, he has withdrawn from the World Championships due to the arm, elbow, and shoulder injury.

In tribute to Evan Lysacek and the great sport of Figure Skating, in a future blog, I am going to blog about some of my top favorite figure skaters and why I like them.

Wow!!!

So as you can tell from the date of my last blog entry, I have deffinitely not kept up my trying to do at least one a day. Let's just say that I was WAY OFF!!! Right now, I am watching the second night of the premiere of Dancing with the Stars. I am not usually one to watch Dancing with the Stars, but with a line up that includes Kristy Yamaguchi and Marissa Jaret Winokur, who can resist??? I guess you can say that I also kind of like the glittery costumes, but that is another story. I am a figure skater, and figure skaters wear glittery dresses, so what can I say?

Anyway. Molly just came down and she wants to watch American Idol, so I guess we are going to try to switch back and forth between Dancing with the Stars and American Idol.

I can't really think of much to blog about right now, but I just wanted to let you know that I am NOT DEAD!!!
